How to make this kind of light streaks? (see video)
Hola diehard users of After Effects! Today I have a question, might be no stranger to all of you pros.
How do I make this kind of light streaks at 3:47 and at 1:31 shooting up from below the guy (Zedd)?

Most likely done with a stock Light Leaks effect. If you look at it closely, what they’ve done is split the screen in the middle, and moved a copy of the effect to either side of center, so you have a symmetrical effect. There are many sources to get light leaks from, some of them free. Generally, you place your layer over the background layer, and put it in Additive Mode.

Hmm… I don’t think that is a light leak even in the slightest degree because light leak refers to the yellowish or orangish or reddish light shone on the camera lens (not lens flare). I’ve Googled light leak for tutorial like you said but that isn’t what I want. I want the effect like in the music video. that kind of sharp and crisp thin light. any idea? :/
