  Make a Particular Light Streak go Behind someone?

  So basically I want to record myself playing piano, and at certain parts I want to implement Trapcode Particular. I am going to make a streak of light and I sort of want it to circle around me. I have seen it done before and have pondered some possibilities, but ultimately do not know how to approach this.

  Here are two approaches:

  1-Shoot yourself playing the piano and duplicate the clip. rotoscope yourselef so the top layer is just you and the bottom is the whole clip. Then you can make the light streak go behind you.

  2-Shoot yourself in front of a green screen and key out the green, then add the background. Then you can make the light streak go behind you.
