  Motion Renders black in FCP

  I’m having problem with Motion and FCP 6 working together. When I bring in an .motn and pace it in the timeline then place the head over the clip it shows that it is there and looks right but of course needs to be rendered. I then render it and after render it is just a black screen. I am running FCP 6 and motion 3 on a MacBook 2GHz Duo, with 4 GB Ram. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

  Frank, I’ve never seen this before so my advice may be of no help. Make sure your render settings in FCP are set to Normal or Best. Make sure the Resolution is set to 100% and the codec it set to “Same as Sequence Codec.” Hope this helps and best of luck.

  Thanks for the reply Steve. Everything is set properly. Wondering if my machine is just not strong enough?
