    Hello,

i bought an AJA KiPro and an optional 500GB HD in germany from BPM-Media.com.

Today the 500GB seemed to be damaged. Since today I can`t write files on it.

I formatted the drive two times in the Ki Pro, and the drive needs long to be shown in the finder. When it appears, i can put a ProRes-file in the “Aja”-folder, but then the finder shows me an error message like “Can`t write because of an read/write-error”.

My internal HDs are ok and writing on the other Aja-drive (250GB) is also no problem.

To solve the problem, i used the apple hd-app (Festplattendienstprogramm in german). This showed me “damaged disk”, but a repair failed.

Is there a possibility to send the drive to Aja and get a new 500GB-drive for a “special-price”?

    Greetings Chris

Or to save higher shipping costs and potential import taxes you could arrange for an advanced replacement via your dealer arranged from the distributor in Germany.

    Best regards
