  Ki-Pro in the telecine

  Hi there,

  I have a question:
  I would like to use the Ki-pro as a substitute for a professional deck (like a Digibeta or DVCAM) to record “offline” telecines from 35mm material for a feature film.
  So I believe I need RS-422 (I see it is coming soon), and also a means to put a digital audio feed from a Aaton Indaw into Ki-pro, with no analog conversions (maybe tru HDMI 8 channels? how?), also a compatible flex or Ale file for FCP to link to; and the Timecode generated by the telecine.
  I would like to record in HD from a SDI signal, at 23.98 fps, at 1080p.
  Is this all possible? What can possibly go wrong in this set up?
  With this setup working, I would speed up loading material to the edit suit, instead of capturing everything, and would have a excelent material to work with, specially in the case of 2.35 aspect ratio material. No frame rate conversions (as opposed to SD at 29.97), and a perfect 23.98 EDL for 2K scan, I believe.
  I am worried about audio. I like it to be “online”, pristine.

  Any ideas or thoughts?
