  BB/ Blackburst/ Sync/ Genlock, seamless playback, edit

  Hi,

  i want to integrate the Aja KI Pro into an analog studio (component). Normally every device has to be synced. On the back of the Aja KI Pro i can`t see any BB or Genlock inputs.

  Do i have to use a timebase-corrector in this case?

  Is it possible to loop an specific file seamless?

  Is it possible to divide/ truncate/ delete files by using the buttons on the front in stand-alone-mode?

  No, you can tell the Ki to sync over Y of the incoming component video.

  Yes, looping is seamless and there’s a parameter that can be set to do so.

  You can create a playlist of sorts to play files, but all editing will need to be done on an NLE.
