  Rendering in Vegas 10

  I’m having probs rendering using Vegas 10. Rendering in Mpeg 2 the finished video jumps periodically. In AVCHD 11 minutes into the finished video the motion starts to judder. If I render at MP4 after about 5 minutes rendering an alarm sounds – I think it is from the processor. In Task Master I can see the processor is working at 90%. Is that safe?
  The PC is a 2.5 quad with 4 gb of ram. Any thoughts
