I’ve just installed the ver 3.00 drivers and timecode / deck control has died. Unistalled and reinstalled 2.6 drivers and they don’t work anymore either.

Sony A500 deck through RS422 – using Insert Edit – deck gets to TC in point and doesn’t record.

Print to Video – just seems to create an arbitrary TC point to start recording.

Also – going from capture to export to Tape – Premiere STILL crashes (which I thought was solved in this version)

    I’m stuck can anyone help?

    More detail:

When using ‘Export to Tape’ in Insert Edit or Print to Video mode, the ‘Duration’ figure to the right of the panel always displays 1 frame (00:00:00:01). Regardless of length of timeline.

    Hence nothing going to tape.

This is really causing me problems.

What exactly was the procedure you used for first the upgrade, then the revert back to the old drivers…?
