  • Issue with Beta SP through the AJA…

Posted by Dan Duffy on July 7, 2011 at 6:30 pm

    Hi everyone,
It’s my first post, so please bear with. So I have been using an AJA Io for the past four years with my Beta SP decks to bring all of my old footage into FCP Studio 2.

Recently, I have upgraded to Snow Leopard, as well as FCP Studio 3, with FCP being version 7.0.3. The other day, I tried to bring some footage in, and the deck kept stopping…like it had the hiccups and just kept looking for a new timecode break. I have never had this problem before. Finally, I just turned off the deck control and brought it in manually. Now, of course, the footage is completely jumpy.

I don’t have the AJA HD, or the Express…it’s the standard Io. Is there any type of upgrade I need to do with this to fix this issue?

    Thanks so much.
