  Visual Effects in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind

  I recently watched Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and noticed they did some really cool visual stuff. I think a lot of it was filters and relatively simple Pleasantville-like keying. Some scenes also had a hand-tinted look to them, but i’m not sure how they did that.

  Basically, i was wondering if anyone had seen the movie and knew the effects i was talking about. Did i guess their technique correctly? how did they do the keying or masking or whatever so cleanly?

  Color pass effects, with some masking I would guess.
