  Component input stopped working

  The component input on my IO LA has stopped working. It looks like the Y signal is not getting through. When I open Log/Capture window to capture from my Beta deck, I only see a very dark image with only red & blue colors. The video drifts horizontally too.

  Until now, I’ve never had a problem with the video signal from my Beta deck. I first noticed this problem when I tried to connect a DVD player into the IO through the component inputs. I have never done that before. Obviously I’ve tested the output of my Beta deck–component looks fine on my monitor. S-Video and Composite inputs are working on LA. Any ideas?

  The firmware on my LA is 2-6. I haven’t installed the Control Panel and its firmware. But I have the latest IO driver 2.0. I’m running OS 10.3.9 with FCP 4.5. I have cycled the power on the IO, and my Beta & IO are getting black from a sync generator.
