  AJA codecs on Lion – QT 7.6.6

  I downloaded the AJA codecs for Lion but I can’t view them in Quicktime X or 7.6.6 I just want to view the files. Do I need Quicktime Pro installed? I have the codecs in Library/Codecs. Is this just for Quicktime X?

  The files open up in After Effects ok.

  I believe you need QuickTime Player Pro since those codecs will be selectable upon exporting, which is not available in QuickTime X.
