Live “one the fly” subtitles?
The Kona 3 card seems to support overlaying off graphics files over video so I am thinking if its possible to feed the video from a tapedeck (D-beta or HDCAM) to the AJA Kona 3 and overlay subtitles according to a time-coded dialogue spotting list and then outputting the video to the projector.
Is there any solution out there that could do this? Maybe a software that would feed the Kona 3 card subtitles (.bmp files) according to a time-coded script (Sonic Solutions Script file) and then output the new video to the projector so one could screen a film with “Live” subtitles?
