  AJA LHe with external client monitor

  We are trying to hook up an HD client monitor to our room. Currently we have an SDI signal going to our Sony LMD2050W. IS there any disadvantage to sending the signal to the client HDo screen via the component out of the LHe compared to getting the AJA Hi5 and converting the SDI signal to HDMI?
  Additionally should I expect any audio delay going to the client monitor?

  Jeffrey,
  You can certainly use the component output on the KONA for high quality monitoring. The only major consideration would be the distance you intend to run the cable to the monitor as analog video degrades over longer cable runs. If the distance is fifteen feet or less, and a high quality video cable is used, you should not experience any form of degradation in the image quality.
