  LHi 720p60 to 1080i59.94

  I’m stumped.

  I had this setup successfully running two weeks ago. The recording deck is the HVR-1500a and it accepts the HD-SDI video signal and yet when playing back I get a frozen frame. Audio from the SDI is running with no issues.
  
  Here’s the A/V settings I had saved as an Easy Setup in FCP:
  
  NOTE: Manual suggests outputting at 10bit but it makes no difference.
  
  Here’s how the AJA Control Panel was set-up:
  
  NOTE: 720p (Primary) was what worked before even though 1080i (Secondary) is what the AJA support suggested.

  I’ve re-installed the driver, I’ve trashed the FCP settings, I’ve tried just about every other combination I could think of through the AJA Control P and the FCP A/V Settings and I’m just not getting anything to playback.

  Any ideas?

  Leave FCP in the 720p easy setup. Then set your outgoing SDI pipe to secondary and 1080i.
