10 uncompressed of AJA kona LH
yesterday i had job to grade on mac machine..
So i asked the editor to capture the material Uncompressed 10 Bit.So he couldn’t figure this words in the capture settings of his capture card (kona LH)
for me i can see it clear on the black magic card..
so what is the settings he should choose to get the same result of uncompressed 10 bit HD 1080 1920 by the AJA kona LH

Ayman,
you do not say what version of FCP your Client has so I will do a simple explanationopen FCP, from the Final Cut In the Menu bar open Easy Setup.
Choose HD
Choose frame rate ( showing 25i here – this is the setting to use for 25FPS content since the signal being sent is PsF which is technically sent as interlace)
Choose your Compression setting.after FCP loads you HAVE need to create a New Project and that new project will have the correct settings,
you need to do this step since FCP loads the previous setting when it launches and since you are changing the config after launching FCP you MUST create a new Sequence to get the setting correct.

Am not going to do the edit..only I’ll do the grading on exported files..
So am not involved in all this..Simply my question is ..
which profile should the editor choose during he capture the material from the capture settings to be uncompressed 10bit..
He can’t find the AJAkona3 10bit uncompressed..
his capture card is AJA kona LHBest regards

The look for that setting NOT THE CARD NAME sorry for the kona 3 name but that was all I had with me.
the settings should read the same except for the Kona LH instead of Kona3
since you have not offered any info I cannot do better.
The Easy setup allows for all of this- set the format to be 10bit UC then pick your frame rate
