Have it working with FCP 6.0.4, OSX 10.5.5, QT 7.5.5 & recent Pro App update.

Had to reset my scratch discs and FCP re-profiled itself for RT extreme. At first was getting dropped frames, but a second reboot and all is well.

[Warren Eig] “Had to reset my scratch discs and FCP re-profiled itself for RT extreme.”

Whenever you uninstall and reinstall new drivers, the Kona installers will trash FCPs preferences. It’s to help with new easy setups, just in case you were wondering why this happened.

It does something else fun too. It reset the output in a “saved” FCP project from 59.94 to 23.98, so initially I couldn’t get any output to the HD monitors. That was new…

There are also some new settings in the Control Panel under “Setup”. And, for the first time, I can turn on Desktop Display without losing my output. That’s nice… now I just have to see if it actually works with this nVidia display card…

I don’t think saved project data has anything to do with the video output setting.

According to AJA it is supposed to be saved… though I suspect you may be right…

What’s supposed to be saved and where did you see this?

Not sure where AJA said this, but video output settings are stored in their own files, which in turn are used in Easy Setup files. They have nothing to do with project data.

Exactly. You can now choose which easy setups load into FCP through the setup tab of the control panel. It’s handy.
