  Best way to deliver HD quicktime for Avid?

  I have to create a press kit with HD footage to be handed out on DVD-rom.

  What is the best codec (and settings) to convert for use with AVid?

  Would that just be XDcam HD 60i?

  The original footage/edit is HDV @29.97

  Some of Avid’s codecs are available for free. you can use Compressor to transcode the footage if you need to.
