  Creating Custom LUTs For Kona3

  Hey not sure if anyone will find this useful but I found a cheap way to make custom 1D LUTs for the Kona3 using HDLinkPro. At the very least u are able to get 3 free LUTs from HDLink Pro LUT Presets.
  Panasonic Varicam F-Rec Gamma Correction
  Viper FilmStream Gamma Correction
  Black & White

  Basically:

  1. Make the 1D LUT using the HDLinkPro
  2. Save table
  2. Open the LUT TXT document – remove the top line of text that says “R G B – HDLINK LOOKUP TABLE”
  3. Save AS something else ie “…. Kona3 LUT”
  4. Import in the Kona3 Custom tab

  Any thoughts?
