Hey, I’m trying to capture footage from a DVCPRO 50 Panasonic deck with SDI cables through AJA Kona, everything is plugged in (SDI IN and Remote) But im still getting the ‘no video’ message on the Kona control panel, under SDI In. Was wondering what to do. thx

DO you have a Kbox or just the snake?

OK. Quit FCP and double check your connections. SD11 IN on the snake should be connected to SDI out of the deck. Right click on your frame buffer and choose 525i29.97. In the ‘Control’ tab of the Kona COntrol Panel set your ‘Default Video output’ to input passthrough. Hit play on your deck. DO you see images from your tape to your monitor assuming the output of your KOna is hooked to your monitor?
