  Kona 3 FCP and HDR-fx1 Help!

  Alright I have a Kona 3 in the new intel G5 Mac running FCP 5.1.2. I am trying to capture and play back HDV from a Sony HDR-FX1 through a firewire connection.
  I have captured the 1080i (1440×1080) footage using the easy set up
  HDV1080i60 setting.

  The problem I am having is there is no playback output setting selected
  and the Kona does not have a 1440×1080 playback setting. How do I get
  this footage out of the computer and on to our hd monitor? We have the FCP/Mac connected to the monitor through an HDMI cable.

  Any suggestions? Do I need some sort of third party plug-in?
  Help.

  Simply set your Easy Setup to AJA Kona HDV Playback and you’re set to go.
