Ive gotten some footage in from a music video shoot, and there is about three hours of material of 720p(Varicam) and about 1 hour of 1080p 24 (HDCAM 4:2:2), what Final Cut Pro setting should I choose to capture the footage that was shot at 720p and 1080 24p??? And i do not want to use a native codec i want uncompressed…any help would be most appreciated.

The AJA Kona 3 offers 720p to 1080i and 1080i to 720p Cross Conversion so you can simply capture all of your material to the same format on the way in. Your call which way you want to go, I would probably go 720 with all of the material since most of your footage is already there.

Just set up to capture either 720/1080i 8 or 10bit Uncompressed and away you go. The Kona will recognize the footage that’s being converted and do that automatically during capture.
