I just picked up a new PVM14L5/1 for a great deal (as a location monitor for my HVX200)
and want to get into the service menu.

A long time ago I was able to get into the service menu of my 20L5 – but I’ve forgotten how.

I want to set the overscan to zero ( why over scan hd? I never understood why Sony did that)

I actually had a Sony service center set it to zero, but I believe I can do it myself with the service menu.

I just need to know how to get into the menu.

    I think:

    1 – Choose the ‘Menu’
2 – Then push ‘Enter’ and ‘Degauss’ at the same time

This should get you into the service menu.

Anyone know how to get a 14L5 out of Aging Mode? I’m stuck…

Thanks Mark- I finnaly figured it before seeing your post.

I got stuck in the same aging menu. I was told it would go off after an hour.

I think I kept hitting different inputs and finally it cancelled.

Well, I’ll try that and hope for the best. I guess I learned my lesson – don’t mess around in the service menu if I don’t know exactly what I’m doing!

Is anyone aware of how to purchase a service manual for a PVM-14L5, or whether there is an online forum or document repository where these types of questions can be addressed?

    Thanks in advance.
