  KBox w/Kona 2 vertical breakup in playback…

  Hey all,

  I have the Kona2 with the Kbox…when I digitize footage from my HD100 and try to playback via Final Cut ProHD there is vertical breakup in the video. I am having to do a downconvert to playback as I do not have the money for an HD monitor system yet…I am using a Sony trinitron and the component hookup from the Kbox.

  It used to playback clean, but now something has changed and I can’t figure what it maybe. I had to rebuild my system with clean install because the auto update from Apple fried everything. I did all the current dloads from Aja.com and now I have this problem.

  Is there a Control Panel that I am not finding for the Kona2 and/or Kbox? Because I would like to test it via that, cause none of the settings that I pick in FCP are working properly.

  It’s called Kona Control Panel, and it downloads along with your Kona 2 drivers. It’s in your application folder. Go to http://www.aja.com, go to support, and download the latest AJA Kona 2 drivers, and you will have the Kona Control Panel (which also affects the K Box).
