  720p HD-SDI still busted?

  According to a post on the Final Cut Pro forum, Apple STILL has not fixed the 720p HD-SDI capture bug with FCP 5.0.3. My 1200A is out on rental so I can’t test it here for the moment.

  Anyone else with 5.0.3 that can confirm that it’s still busted?

  I have been talking regularly to both AJA and our Apple Rep about this problem. I received a call from AJA tech support the day after FCP 5.0.3 was released, and they confirmed that this release DOES NOT fix the problem. There appeared to be frustration that the problem had not been addressed in this release and that they would be contacting Apple FCP engineering again.

  I continue to anxiously awaiting a fix to this problem!!!

  do what I do, send some good “feedback” to Apple at least once a week via their Support website and keep letting Apple know that you’re having the problem. If we can get enough people sending weekly or even daily “feedbacks” maybe they’ll actually fix the darn thing.
