  PCIe macs – Kona series PCI-X compatible?

  New Macs today. All PCI express. Is that going to play OK with all our PCI stuff – Kona2, KonaLS, etc.?

  We’ll probably se PCI-E versions of the Kona-series of cards, if not a completely new board/Io-type interface.

  Play nice not.

  PCI and PCI-X will not work in PCIe (PCI-Express) slots.

  An upgrate to a PCIe G5 will require all new cards, KONA, ATTO etc…

  Existing PCI-X based hardware is NOT compatible with the PCIe bus architecture in these new G5’s. AJA will be making their “Something New” announcement tomorrow.
