  • 3D spinning object not exporting as 3D in AE

    Hi,

I’m new to After Effects (CC) and am having an issue trying to export my logo animation. I have made a basic spinning 3D logo which looks fine in AE but when exported it just displays as a ‘flat’ object – not actually in 3D. Im not sure if I need to select a certain setting somewhere to make this export correctly?

    Any help would be appreciated,

    thanks

What do you mean by “export” it. AE only renders final files to 2D video. It doesn’t create a 3D file that you can import into StudioMax or Cinema4D for further refinement.

Thanks John, I got it to work by sending it to the Render Queue and not the other way I had been trying,
    thanks!
