  Where to plug IO la?

  Curious ’bout something. Will soon have Kona 2 and IO la on same machine. My question is this. Will the IO la plug it’s firewire cable into the Kona 2’s firewire port, or will it plug into the G5? Also, if it plugs into the G5, do I need a PCI to FW800 card for it to plug into, or is the G5’s port sufficient? I’ll already have one PCI to FW800 card in the G5 for my G-Raids to plug into.

  The Kona 2 does not have a FW port, and I do not know where you got that Idea. It is always best to have your Io running off the internal FW port with No other devices on that bus.

  you know, I don’t know where I got that idea either…I think I was looking at a picture of an IO, not the K2. But, you did answer my question…thanks.
