    Hi folks,

I just did a big install including OSX10.4.1, QT7.0.1, FCP Studio and a new Kona2 card. It was basically a pretty smooth process and I was able to quickly start capturing DVCProHD clips with this “new” setup, however…

When I capture clips (using capture now or batch capture, no difference) the audio is about 5 frames ahead of the video. In other words, it is out of sync.

I use the -3 capture offset to make sure the captured timecode matches what’s on tape, and that part works fine…its just that the captured audio is about 5 frames early when I play back the clip in FCP. Does anyone have any ideas here???

    Im running a dual 2Ghz G5 with 5gb ram
I updated the latest drivers from AJA (the 1.1.2 software they posted yesterday) and they are working on this issue right now they say.

By the way, their support is really very helpful and the fix I needed for another problem yesterday appeared on their website within minutes…obviously just a coincidence but its nice to imagine that a customer merits that level of support!

    Thx for any suggestions –

the driver readme file states that it has corrected this issue. are you still seeing audio sync problems on capture with 1.1.2?
