  Please help – laying off to tape

  I am going to do an Edit to Tape of a 100 minute project (1080 23.98 psf). This will be my master for color correction.

  I was told that there is a 1 frame offset when downconverting on playback. This is my first HD layoff. Am I correct to assume there is no offset (because there is no delay caused by scaling/frame rate conv.) ?

  Anything else I should be aware of?

  Should I enable the “abort capture on dropped frames” feature so I know if any frames are defective?

  Any suggestions and advice will be greatly appreciated.
