  • Fusion 9 preview effects in real time??? Or, wait until after the adjustment is applied???

Effects in Fusion seem to require that one apply an effect–say, a simple blur, using a blur effect slider–but then wait to see the extent of the blur change until one releases the mouse button.

Preferences does seem to have a couple of Preview options but they don’t seem to have any effect. That is, one still must wait until the effect is applied to see the extent of the effect. Then, upon releasing the mouse button, the effect change snaps in.

Until then one is blind to the extent of the effect being applied.

Seems to me that most other programs, such as Resolve and Photophop, allow real time preview of effects.

    Any thoughts??? A simple fix???

    Thanks, Mike

It sounds as though your have Auto Proxy turned on, which will momentarily show you a draft version of what you are doing.

Sometimes that’s fine, but a lot of the time it’s very annoying.

To turn it off, hit the APrx button down at the bottom left of the interface, just next to HiQ and MB.
