What is this called in AE and how do I create it?
This is the video that has the effect I’m looking at recreating:

The effect is at 11:03. The image of the horse, Royal Academy (it’s also in several other spots, that that’s the first notable one).Is it just a matter of adding a mask and moving the horse, or what? I’m looking to recreate this effect for one of my projects, but I’m not sure what to call it in order to look it up for tutorials.

The effect was popularized in the movie, “The Kid Stays in the Picture”, so along with the tutorial Tero linked(very good one), here’s the results was a search on the the kid stays in the picture effect. It’s also knowin as 2.5d effect
