  Animating lines

  Hi there, I wonder if somebody could help me. I am new to after effects and can’t seem to find the answer on this..

  I am creating a simple animation that has three boxes slowly move around, a simple keyframe on their position, no problem. Next I need to add a line to a corner of each box so that they are all joined – similar to a flow chart etc. So I need to create a line that I can move the two points so that it follows the corners of the boxes. Essentially I think i just need to figure out how to animate two points of a line, but for some reason, im struggling. Any help would be great, thank you very much.

  Try the Generate Beam effect.
