  Cataloging and Indexing software for multiple hard drives

  I have posted in other website forums and have yet to get a response.

  We are making the jump to pc and originally I had planned to use Neofinder for my needs. They are mac only however. I need an application that can give metadata details as well as index and catalogue each hard drive I attach to it. Keep in mind these hard drives have images, video, audio, project files etc. These drives are full of footage from RED, SONY, GOPRO ETC. I’m wanting it to have a searchable database and be dependable. I have done some searches but haven’t had much luck. PC software only.. Basically the idea is to catalog all of my hard drives and be able to search for a specific file and know what hard drive it is on since we cant keep every drive online.

  We have a few PC-based customers using WinCatalog with good results. Give them a look at https://www.wincatalog.com.
