I have a Pegasus2 R4 and I set it up with my Macbook before I got my Mac Pro. I just plugged it into my Mac Pro when it arrived and it was setup as RAID 10. I want to change it to RAID 0. I already put about 4TB of data on it so I imagine that I will have to erase the drives and transfer that data back to it again, but the Promise Utility is a bit confusing and I have been through the manual so I don’t quite know how to go about doing this….is there a way to change the RAID configuration and keep the data already there (aka rebuild the data)? Sorry first RAID I have ever used, just don’t want to F&^% something up.

No. It doesn’t quite work that way. You will have to move the data off the drive before formatting a new RAID volume. Or you will lose all the data. If you are concerned about losing data, RAID-0 may not be the best option unless you have some kind of backup process to another drive.
    Good Luck!
