Activity Forums Storage & Archiving Fibrejet Issue, Client will not release one volume

  • Fibrejet Issue, Client will not release one volume

Posted by Olivier Jean on July 29, 2011 at 4:49 pm

I need to deinstall fibreJet, to get the storage back to HFS+, so i can transfer the data from those volumes
    to another non Fibrejet volume
unfortunately only client is holding on the one volume and will not allow it to be mounted., it always stays unmounted.
I try to go into emergency option in the system pref, all but this volume is released.
If i de install FibreJet, this volume will not mount and get stuck….

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

    regards

    I’d look for fsck.

    1. Launch Activity Monitor (Applications>Utilities>Activity Monitor).
    2. In the Monitor menu choose Show Activity Monitor. This window may already be open after you launch the application.
    3. In the pop up menu at the top right of the Activity Monitor, choose “All Processes.”
    4. Under the column Process Name look for “fsck.”
    5. If you find that fsck is running it is appropriate to allow it to finish running. This may take a few minutes or a couple hours depending on the size of the
    volume.

Unfortunately the question does not provide enough information to allow for an answer that can be genuinely effective. I am from CommandSoft, the makers of FibreJet and my suggestion would be to contact our technical support directly; email support@commandsoft.com or call 1-800-447-0144. Even if your support agreement is lapsed our support team will try and point you in a direction that will help you unravel the mystery…
