  Problem in Xsan licenses while installing

  Let me give my background first of all. I am working in Apple Sales in Middle East and had supplied a couple of Xserves wotj Xsan 2 (12 Licenses). Unfortunately our engineers are unable to complete the setup due to a license error which is “There are not enough Xsan 2 Serial Numbers” where as all the serial numbers entered are valid and we are entering for 2 Xserves and 10 mac workstations.
  I have attached the screen shot in PNG. Need advise if someone had encountered this problem.

  I ran into this issue also. Some research turned up this information regarding the error message in question:

  It appears to be a bug in the OS X Server serial number verification framework, when multiple network interfaces are in use. I experienced this issue on 10.5.8 Server, with XSAN 2.2.

  I updated OS X Server with the 10.5.8 Server Combo Update v.1.1, which resolved the issue in my case. You can download the update here:

  This issue is also present in OS X 10.6 server:

  And resolved in the 10.6.1 Server update:
