EzHDSAN will support simultaneous Real-Time HD multi-stream editing in the most popular formats including Infinity™ JPEG 2000, DVCPRO 50, DVCPRO HD, P2, VariCam, XDCAM EX, HDV, DNX220HD, AVC-Intra, MJPeg, MPeg I-frame, ProRes 422 and others.
Workstations or laptops with no internal HD capable storage will be able to edit HD using EzHDSAN as its HD project storage.

everyone is getting into the same game – ethernet file sharing for compressed HD for FCP. It’s all the same concept, except they have a dedicated computer with a built in switch using link agg. It’s just like you see here described with Final share, Granite Stor, ShareMax, EditShare, and others. If you like 1 beyond – hey – go for it. All these solutions will work, because ethernet shared storage WORKS. It’s all a matter of cost, and who you trust to work with.
4 FCP systems will be easy to deal with for any of these systems, with the same usual limitations. Render locally, no multicam feature in FCP from the shared volume. These are not render farms, they are shared storage enviornments.
