  Does making a DMG compression of XDCAM SxS card harm footage?

  If this has been addressed previously in this forum my apologies.
  I’m on the road and need to archive SxS cards after shoots. Doing drag and drop to ExFat is taking huge amounts of time and I wondered if I used Disk Utility to make DMG’s am I in anyway losing the resolution of the original files? Thanks your time is most appreciated.
