Render queque, same composition and different layer visibility
Hello:
I have a question about adding the same composition to a render queque.
I did a composition with different cameras and I need to render each camera separately to edit the final video in Premiere. I hace tried to add the composition with the 1st camera activated, then turn off that camera and turn on the next and add the composition again, but all the renders are done with the last camera that I activated.
Is there any way to do that or I have to wait for all the cameras to render?

You need duplicates of the composition, 1 for each camera. So if you have 3 cameras, duplicate your comp 2 times(name them CAM1, CAM2, CAM3). Open each one and turn on the camera you want and each one to the render queue.

That’s exactly what I was trying to avoid but it seems that I have no option.

Understand. There’s a cool third party plugin for C4D that lets you take snap-shots of your comps(with different layers turned on/off) and you can then render the different versions.
Sometimes duplicating comps in AE can be difficult if you have lots of precomps and maintaining hierarchy, if that’s the case for your project, you might want to check out this script: True Comp Duplicator Compatibility After Effects

I’ll check that script because (yes) I have a lot of precomps.
