    Hi,

Here are the specs… I have created a new layer whereby i created a mask using the pen tool, then used the write-on effect to draw a line along the mask.

The problem is that i want the line to look like it is drawing onto a layer below it, but cannot seem to get the top layer (with the mask) to become transparant.

If there is anyone out there that can solve the problem, i will label you as ‘The Man’

    Cheers,
    Mikes

    Hi Mike,

go to “paint stlyle” then select: on transparent or better still use stroke which can be found under render, you can control it with start or end dont forget to select a path/mask

    regards
