  • Moving anchor points without moving the objects?

    Hello,

I’m working on a character animation project. I created a character with all the parts in separate layers in Illustrator and I imported it into After Effects. Now that all the layers are in place I want to do the rigging to be ready for animation. But I have to adjust the anchor points before that. The problem is that everytime I move the anchor point the object moves so I have to manually move them back to where they should be but the problem is that my character has many layers(body parts) that it is difficult to rearrange them in AE.

Is there anyway that I can move the anchor points without moving the objects? Or is there anyway that I can import the layers wit the anchor points already set in Illustrator?

I will really appreciate your help. Thank you!
