  Format Thumb Drive for H.264 to play on LG TV

  Hi,

  I exported a 2 hour timeline to H.264 HD.

  I have a 32 GB Thumbdrive that I formatted to ExFAT.

  I dragged the 2 Hour H.264 (MP4) file onto the thumb drive then I plugged the thumb drive into my LG TV so I can watch it on TV.

  It won’t play on the TV. In fact it says “Problem on the USB Drive.”

  What am I doing wrong? How can I get it to work?

  I am on a Mac Operating System High Sierra.

  I’m guessing your teevee can’t read ExFAT. Try an old format, like FAT 16, and attempt it again.

  And, to save time, maybe copy a small test file to the drive, one compressed using the same specs as your two-hour opus.
