ProRes422 (HQ) is chunkier coming out of Adobe Prelude than Compressor
I’ve found more pronounced compression artifacts when transcoding the exact same clip shot on DSLR to ProRes422 (HQ) in Adobe Prelude than in Compressor. I’ve made sure max render quality is selected when I make the preset in Adobe Media Encoder, but the clip coming out of the Adobe side looks worse than the same clip run through compressor.
Anybody else have issues with this? The clip runs through much faster in Prelude than it does in Compressor, which is a red flag for me.
