Odd frame rates out of Encoder (set at 60p, comes out 51.2)
I have I file I need to encode in order to play off of a BrightSign player. We are testing different resolutions, but the file needs to be 60p. The source is coming out of Avid and I’ve tried doing Same as Source (giving me a file that is DNxHD145) and ProRes 422HQ. I’ve tried encoding both of those files through Encoder at 60p but each time it ends up at 51.2fps (I see this when I open the files in Quicktime).
For settings, I’m encoding the files h.264, main concept level 4.1, VBR-2 pass with a max of 25Mbps.
If anyone knows why these are coming out at such a weird fps, and how I could get them to actually stay at the 60p I set them at I would really appreciate it. Let me know if you need more information to help troubleshoot.
Thanks in advance!
