  Animate Shape path

  Can you animate the path of a shape layer?

  I want it to draw on, but I don’t see that option..

  I have to create mask splines and use the stroke effect, which is twice the work..

  I see I can copy a shape path to a mask path, so that helps a little..

  On your shape, add a “Trim Paths” operator (1), then set end to 0% (2) and animate up to 100%. You can also play with the start and offset to get other effects.
