    How can I change the sample rate from 44.1khz to 48khz on a single audio file?

    Also where do I find the bit rate of an audio file – is it somewhere in the inspector?

    I don’t think you can change the sample rate within Final Cut, you’ll need to use an external application, like Compressor. There’s also an online converter which should work:

    Yes, it’s shown in the upper right corner in the info tab of the inspector. You can also enable Audio Sample Rate column in the browser.
