  Chronosync backup: merge versus dissect for FCP 10 library packages?

  For those who use Chronosync for backups, is there a preference for dissect or merge package handling when backing up FCP 10 libraries?

  I use merge. Merge is really an extension of dissect and, according to the user guide, is the safer option as far as not breaking the package goes.

  I have been wondering the same thing.

  It does seem that if you are backing up to a remote volume, (but not with ChrononSync Agent), so backing up to a NAS, then Chronosync with revert back to Standard handling any way .
