Converting multiple files with RAW to Log Conversion
I need to convert multiple files with the option of “RAW to Log Conversion”. As far as I know, FC Compressor doesn’t have this feature. Is there any way I can batch convert footage (hundreds of files) in FCPX itself? Or maybe it’s possible to switch RAW to Log Conversion in FC Compressor. Thanks for help!

Are these ProRes RAW files? If so, my suggestion is to follow these steps.
1) Import all clips into FCPX and place on one long timeline
2) Set the camera LUT for all clips to “none”
3) Use ClipExporter to export the timelineClipExporter will export the single timeline and then slice that single clip into individual clips. These will be converted to ProRes in the process.
EDIT – I’m not exactly sure if ClipExporter is still working or supported. I believe the developer is the one doing a similar function for FrameIO.

If ClipExporter doesn’t work, you can achieve the same thing using Marquis Broadcast’s Worx4 X app.

Actually I just did a quick test. You can batch export straight from the browser if you have the free FrameIO extension. So, set the source clips to camera LUT = none. Select all the clips and use “share x clips” from the file menu. Pick the FrameIO Source preset. You will be asked to pick a codec and export location. Once done, you have the new files without needing to actually upload to FrameIO. These files will be at source resolution (with desired codec, like ProRes) at a log profile.
