  AE Audio Problems

  My audio is jumping around all over the place when I try and edit it in After Effects. I’m trying to cut an aiff to my mov in AE 10. I’m on an imac using osx 10.6.

  Is there a better way to cut audio with picture?

  do you have the latest update to ae10 (ie: cs5)?

  there was an update that fixed an issue with aiff files. i think the latest for ae10, is 10.0.2.

  I FEEL THAT ANYTIME I EXPORT VIDEO FROM AE INTO FCP, THEN EDIT, THEN EXPORT THE VIDEO AGAIN I LOSE SOME QUALITY. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

  I’M NOT SHOUTING, I JUST RENDER WITH CAPS LOCK ON.

  First thought is make sure you rendering to a lossless format. I prefer animation, it’s large though, there are a others, some with a a little loss, but really only noticable to people who are really looking.

  I’m not a FCP guy, so maybe those guys might have a few more tips.
